Low cost expendable robots on the way


British scientists are developing low cost yet capable autonomous robots that are highly needed for frontline soldiers. Currently the robots like such as bomb diffusers require special training to use and excessive deployment are cost prohibitive. By utilizing the processing power done at the center rather than the robot itself, and enabling robot with enough autonomous capability, major obstacles are overcome.
